Here you can borrow music and movies, playing electric piano, see the slideshow on the wall, listening to our records and movie tips and see concerts in the middle of the library. In our armchairs, you can read music magazines, watch movies and listen to music.

Movies
Here you will find simply the best films available, no cinemas big blockbusters, but award-winning, hand-picked movies worth to discover or see again and again. We have a wide selection of feature films, documentaries and music videos from various genres. Also: books on almost everything you need to know about film, theater and dance. New late fee on Film: From September 1, we have the same penalty of film that other libraries, ie. 20 SEK / film and started week.

Music
You can borrow music from our large selection of CDs, or listen to this while looking out over Sergel Square. Also discover our fine vinyl corner where you can listen to CDs for our monthly theme. We have a wide selection from various genres, including pop, jazz, classical, hard rock, blues, traditional music, folk, electronica, country, soul, hip-hop and ballads. We avoid the mainstream and are looking for really good music that we want more people to know. In addition to this we have a good collection of music books and biographies that can be borrowed. Do you play music yourself? Then check on our notsamling, which includes classical and contemporary music for piano, guitar, vocals, horns, strings and more.
